SMS TERMS — LEAD NOTIFICATIONS
Nicholls Home Leads (Ironwood Digital LLC)
Version 1.0 · Effective 2026-08-21
These terms describe the text messages we send to contractors who hold an account with us. They apply to you if you gave your consent during signup, or when you set a delivery number in your account.
This is a business messaging program. We text you about leads you are buying. We do not send you marketing, promotions, or offers by text, and we do not text homeowners on your behalf.
1. Who is sending
Messages come from Nicholls Home Leads, the trading name of Ironwood Digital LLC, an Ohio limited liability company.
Every message begins with "Nicholls Home Leads:" so you can identify the sender before you open it. Messages are sent from a number we own and operate. That number is for outbound delivery and for the standard replies described in section 5; it is not a support line, and a reply other than those keywords will not reach a person.
2. What we send
One kind of message: a lead notification.
When a homeowner submits a request matching your coverage and we route it to you, we text you the homeowner's name and phone number, the service they asked for, their ZIP code, and their comment where they left one. The message exists so you can call them without opening anything.
We also send the same lead by email, which carries the full record.
We do not send you marketing texts, promotional offers, newsletters, surveys, payment reminders, or account notices by text message. Account and billing matters go to your email address or your dashboard.
3. How often
Message frequency varies by lead volume. It is determined by how many homeowners submit requests matching the ZIP codes and services you have selected, which we do not control and do not predict.
You will receive one message per lead delivered to you. In a busy week in a wide territory that may be several messages a day; in a narrow territory it may be none for days at a time. We do not batch, digest, or resend on a schedule.
If a message fails to send, we retry it on a decaying schedule up to five times before giving up. Retries are attempts to deliver the same notification, not additional notifications.
You control your own volume. Pausing a ZIP code, pausing a service, setting a weekly budget, or pausing your account stops leads routing to you, and no leads means no messages.
4. Cost
We do not charge you for text messages. Lead prices are set out in the Price Book in your account and are charged per lead delivered, whatever channel it arrives on.
Message and data rates may apply. Those are your mobile carrier's charges under your own plan, not ours. Check with your carrier if you are unsure what messaging costs you.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
5. STOP, HELP, and starting again
Reply STOP to any message to opt out. You will receive one confirmation that you have been unsubscribed, and then no further text messages to that number. STOP is handled by the mobile carrier network, so it takes effect whether or not our systems are reachable.
Reply HELP to any message for help. You will receive a reply identifying us and telling you how to reach us.
Reply START or UNSTOP to resume messages after opting out.
The keywords STOP, HELP, START, UNSTOP, CANCEL, END, QUIT, and UNSUBSCRIBE are recognised by the carrier network and work regardless of capitalisation.
6. What opting out does and does not do
Opting out stops text messages to that number. It does not close your account, cancel your coverage, or stop leads routing to you.
Leads you are routed after opting out will still be delivered by email, and they remain billable under the Contractor Terms of Service. If you no longer want leads at all, pause or close your account in your dashboard — replying STOP is not a cancellation.
You can also stop texts without using the keyword by removing your delivery number in your account settings, or by emailing us at the address in section 8.
7. The number we text
By default we text the phone number on your account. You may set a different delivery number in your settings; when you do, we ask you to confirm the same consent for that number and we record it separately.
Only give us a number you are authorised to receive business messages at. Do not enter a number belonging to someone who has not agreed to receive these messages.
If your number changes or stops being yours, update it in your settings or tell us. We text the number on file.
We record each consent with the number it applied to, the exact wording you were shown, the date and time, and the network address and browser it came from.
